In April, 1953 CIA conducted a mind control experiment for the sake of US securty reinforcement, this experiment was conducted under the MKULTRA programme.Early CIA efforts was mainly focused on LSD drug, which later came to dominate many of MKULTRA's programs.L ysergic acid diethylamide, abbreviated LSD or LSD-25, also known as lysergide and colloquially as acid, is a semisynthetic psychedelic drug of the ergoline family, well known for its psychological effects which can include altered thinking processes, closed and open eye visuals, synaesthesia, an altered sense of time and spiritual experiences, Other significant drug researched under this programm was P- Barbiturecetamol.
PS: Useful information was sometimes obtained by questioning subjects after they had ingested LSD.
