Quantum dots QD ,can be attached to the wall of blood vessel to illuminate a tumour that needs treatment . Each QD is so small as to confine its electrons, and QD size determine precisely how it reacts when excited by light. The smaller the QD the greater the amount of energy needed to excite it and more energy released , higher frequency, smaller wavelength and appear bluewish in colour. QD is more applicable and flexible while used as compare to the bulk semiconductors we using in the advance devices. ^^
